The expansion of Beckhoff’s international sales network continues. The new target of the export activities is Italy with its strong machine construction and plant engineering base. In early 2003, Beckhoff will start its activities by establishing its own subsidiary. This will make direct distribution, support and service available to the Italian industry. The head office of the new Beckhoff branch is located in Milan. Additonal sales offices for customerorientated support are in preparation. Initially, the new managing director Pierluigi Olivari will run the show with four further members of staff.
